Doug took the LiveWire mobile to the Elgin Theatre to record the new musical, “The Last Timbit” for Crave TV/Encounter Films. The production team from the hit musical “Come From Away” was supervising the production. Audio post was done by Rami Azer at Encounter Studios. It was LiveWire’s first remote using our new Dante to Madi converters. Since there was no analog mic split available at the Elgin, we took the 96k Dante output of the house Digico console and used our new Direct Out interfaces to translate the 96 channels into 48k Dante. The system worked flawlessly with the help of Chris Sampson, who did the tech setup on the Direct Out units and the Cisco SG300 switches.
