LiveWire brought in the New Year in Niagara Falls, with Marianas Trench, Simple Plan, The James Barker Band and Jessie Reyez. It was a challenging gig, as it was -11C at showtime, but it looked and sounded great. The show was broadcast nationwide on CBC-TV and was hosted by Rick Mercer.
