LiveWire recorded the audio for three plays at this year’s Stratford Shakespeare Festival:  “King Lear, King John” and “Antony & Cleopatra”.   The mobile was parked for three days outside the Tom Patterson Theatre, recording 56 tracks of audio for the plays, which will be released as theatrical films next year. The films were directed by Barry Avrich.

“King Lear”, starring Colm Feore, was recorded at the Festival Theatre on 80 tracks with Joan Tosoni directing.  The Festival plans to record three plays a year for the next decade, in order to commit all of Shakespeare’s plays to high-definintion video with 5.1 audio.   We are very proud to be part of this historic project, produced by Frank Content.
