On October 7, Doug will have the 48 track portable rig at the Young Centre Theatre in the Distillery Distict to record “Riverboat Coffee House: The Yorkville Scene”, a celebration of the legendary Yorkville Ave. folk venue and the music that was featured there. Various members of the Soulpepper Theatre company will perform acoustic songs from the sixties and seventies, the heyday of the folk music movement. The Riverboat was ground zero for that music in Toronto.
