“kd lang: Has Always Been” will take place on October 2 at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa, and LiveWire will be there to record the show for Insight Productions, to be aired later in the year on CBC.

Dedicated to the voice, the vision and the enduring impact of one of Canada’s most distinctive and influential artists, “k.d. lang: has always been” is the definitive celebration of a monumental talent.
The evening will include performances and tributes by her peers, friends, and musicians she’s inspired including Jann Arden, Michael Bublé, Allison Russell and several other incredible artists who will join k.d. at this special event.
