Chief engineer Doug McClement is heading to Gruene, Texas (near Austin) to record one of that state’s most famous musical exports at Gruene Hall for an upcoming documentary. He will be using the 64 track portable system, set up backstage at this legendary Texas dance hall, built in the late 1800’s. Gruene Hall is sacred ground for Texas music, similar to the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. Looking forward to having some decent BBQ!
