Doug will be at Hugh’s Room on Sept 25 with the 48 track portable system to record “A Trip Down Abbey Road”.

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of one of your favourite records, Greg Wyard is hosting  A Trip Down Abbey Road – an evening to be shared with some of Toronto’s finest musicians paying homage to music that has been the soundtrack to our lives for half a century.  A 6-piece band will perform the Beatles Abbey Road album in its entirety, followed by a second set consisting of Beatle deep tracks and fan favourites.

Greg Wyard is a renowned singer, songwriter, guitarist and bass player based in Toronto. He has released three acclaimed original solo albums, while simultaneously gaining a reputation as a master of the solo cover song, touring Canada, the US, England, New Zealand, Australia and Norway in the process.

Like so many, The Beatles hold a sacred place in Greg’s musical heart. Not just for brilliant song writing and performance, but for the spectacular vocal and instrumental arrangements unique to each and every song. Greg has faithfully performed the Beatles material live in many forms over many years, most recently with Toronto’s “Ones” show, a multi-media presentation of the Beatles “1” album.
This September, let’s take A Trip Down Abbey Road with a musician who knows the music best.
