The El Mocambo finally had its official opening on Oct 30 with a concert by Toronto alt-rockers Our Lady Peace.   Owner/host Michael Wekerle was happy to finally be able to welcome a full house of rock fans to his amazing newly-renovated club.   It was the first of many great nights of music to come “under the neon palms” on Spadina.    LiveWire’s Doug McClement was on hand to record the show for future vinyl release.
