LiveWire has been entrusted by the estate of the late Salome Bey to bake, digitize and transfer over 80 reels of tape to wave files.  Some of the tapes date back to the early sixties.     Salome Bey was one of Canada’s foremost blues singers, and a major force in Toronto’s black community.   It is an honour to be a part of preserving this important collection of Canadian music history.
