Roy Thomson Hall was the place to be on March 30 as the second annual “British, Yiddish, and Kiddush” concert was recorded by LiveWire for CHAI Canada. Simon Spiro, Yiddish Broadway star Mike Burstyn and from Israel, Cantor Meyer Helfgott performed a wide variety of Jewish secular and religious music for a sold-out house. The concert is one of the highlights of the annual Toronto Festival of Jewish Music, and is always an incredibly entertaining evening.
