LiveWire recorded “A Trip Down Abbey Road” at Hugh’s Room on Sept 25.   A group of top level Toronto session musicians played the entire Abbey Road album end-to-end on replica instruments, including a copy of Ringo’s Black Pearl Ludwig kit, complete with tea towels on the toms.    For the second set, they played an hour of the more obscure songs the the Beatles’ catalog.   The show was sold out, and the note-for-note recreation of the music and sounds was amazing.
