LiveWire recorded the Stratford Festival’s production of Romeo and Juliet at the Festival Theatre in October. The recording was part of a decade long series we have been working on since 2011. The ultimate goal is to record all 30 of Shakespeare’s plays in HD video and 5.1 surround audio. We have now completed 13 of them. The film will be shown at select Cineplex theatres across North America early next year. The film was directed by Barry Avrich for Frank Content.
